Showgirl Headdress Pattern

This is a beginner/intermediate pattern with some knowledge of hand sewing techniques required. However, full written instructions with graphics are included. 
The skills required (or you will learn on the job) with this pattern are:

• Working with buckram
• Handstitching millinery wire
• Fitting a felt hood lining

Size: ONE size - 23”/58cm diameter.  Size is adjustable through the application of an elastic closure. 

Supplies required
Buckram
Millinery wire
Braided elastic
Wool felt hood
Strong hand sewing thread and needle
PVA craft glue and paintbrush
Manikin headform
Wire cutter and needle nose pliers

Headform Pattern

This is a novice/beginner pattern with knowledge of basic sewing techniques required.  However, full written instructions are provided .
The skills required (or you will learn on the job) with this pattern are:

• Topstitching
  
• Handstitching techniques
• Underlining

Size: One size - 23”/58cm diameter.

Supplies required

• 1M woven fabric and 1M of calico for underlining.  Suggested fabrics are linen, cotton or stable woven fabric.
• Fill/stuffing of your choice
• Matching thread 
  
• MDF circular coaster for internal base.
