Our vision at Whitelane Textiles is to create exquisitely embellished corsetry and accessories for burlesque performers, pinup beauties and the occasional wearer.
We believe that the history and beauty of corsetry should not forgotten and as such we use historical records and garments as the basis for our designs.
Our designer frequently visits museum collections for fresh inspiration and drawing upon the design of these original garments, we aim to create a truly unique garment for each performer or pinup that enhances their curves. We believe that the promotion of positive self image and embracing a body positive attitude can be achieved through bespoke corsetry, by encouraging self expression through individualised dress.
It is our aim to produce beautifully embellished and tailored corsetry and accessories which are exquisitely finished and are as individual as the wearer.
Our workshop space aims to bring together like minded sewists and crafters in a welcoming creative space. With the belief that sewing and craft skills should be treasured and passed down to the next generation, our workshops are designed to produce confident sewists.
